Today we checked out the Durango Station and got to watch the steam engine from the front. We made a beautiful drive through Pagosa Springs, crossed the Continental Divide at about a 10,000 foot summit! There was quite a lot of snow.
We had a decent lunch in Monte Vista at the Hungry Logger.
We are now in Alamosa. Tomorrow morning we will drive to Antonito and head out on the train to Chama, New Mexico.
The Dupuy's took a detour to the Denver area to visit some friends from So. Cal.
We will catch up with them on Thursday.
