We throughly enjoyed our ride to Silverton. After leaving Durango station at 9:00, we made it through some of the most beautiful scenery ever! Anyone who can see that and not think there is a God is a totaly freak! We made it to Silverton by 12:45 for lunch, strolled around a bit and then headed back. We arrived back at Durango by 6:15.
Bill was in hog heaven. It is a good thing I got a bigger memory card for the camera. I think he took about 200 pics!
