Day 10, June 23, 2008

Denver to Beaver, Utah is a LONG distance to drive! And Beaver is yet another example of a podunk town. I think Denny's would have been a better choice that where we ate!

Anyway, we passed through some gorgeous territory. There was a 90 mile section that was reminesscent of the 5 through central CA. The rest of the time we experienced forests up to the timberline and incredible shots of THE Colorado River. Many parts of Utah looked like sets from westerns.

The kids did really well. I am sure they will have fun spending their money at the gift shops in Bryce and Zion tomorrow. We are going to take a "backway" to both places tomorrow. We will also be able to replace a hat that Roscoe ate.

I think we passed the 2000 mile mark today! Please don't ask how much we have spent on gas! HA HA. At least we got it for under the $4 mark most of the time.
